A pair of large “Kakiemon style”dishes. Japan, Arita, ca. 1700

The dishes with a flattened rim and decorated in blue and Kakiemon enamels, with a central prunus in underglaze blue with rocks and a bird above. The rim is decorated with branches of speckled peaches and pomegranates.  On the reverse are three underglaze blue concentric circles round foot.
